Terms & Conditions

Accuracy of Information:

Wovoyage is not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from inaccurate or incorrect information provided by you in the Online Booking Form.

Payments and Confirmation:

The balance payment for your trip, along with a duly filled Registration Form, must reach us at least 45 days prior to departure, or by the deadline specified at the time of booking. Failure to make the payment by the due date will be treated as cancellation of your participation, and the seat will be released. In such cases, cancellation charges as per the policy will apply.

Upon receipt of the full balance amount, you will receive a booking confirmation along with the final itinerary. This confirmation will serve as your travel authorisation for the tour.

Please note: The balance payment does not cover expenses such as porterage, gratuities, insurance, laundry, phone calls, meals and beverages beyond what is specifically mentioned in the itinerary.

Passport Holding (International Trips):

For international tours, Wovoyage reserves the right to hold your passport until full payment of any pending balance is cleared.

Change of Tour (Transfer Policy):


If you wish to switch to a different Wovoyage trip after booking, we will make every effort to accommodate your request, subject to our Transfer Policy (refer to Cancellation Policy > Transfer Your Trip).

Visa Responsibility:

If your visa is refused or delayed by the consulate/embassy, Wovoyage cannot be held responsible. Any recoverable portion of your package cost will be refunded, subject to terms.

Trip Cancellation by Wovoyage:

Wovoyage reserves the right to cancel a trip prior to departure without assigning any reason. If such a situation arises, we will offer an alternative trip date or refund the full amount paid by you. However, no compensation or reimbursement for expenses (such as flights or services booked independently) will be provided. (Also refer to Cancellation Policy > Additional Terms for force majeure conditions.)

Itinerary and Hotel Changes:

Wovoyage reserves the right to modify the itinerary or replace hotels with alternatives of the same category, without prior notice, to ensure a smooth trip experience. All promised inclusions will be honoured.

Refunds:

Refunds, if applicable due to amendments or cancellations, will be processed directly to your bank account and may take up to 30 days.

Force Majeure & Other Events:

Wovoyage is not responsible for disruptions or additional expenses arising from:

  • Riots, civil unrest, or the threat of violence.

  • Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, landslides, extreme weather, etc.).

  • Delays or cancellations of flights, ferries, trains, buses, or other transport.

  • Medical emergencies, sickness, or inability to continue with the itinerary — the trip will continue as scheduled for the rest of the group.

  • Loss, theft, or misplacement of personal belongings.

Foreign Exchange Fluctuation: 

In case of currency fluctuations exceeding Rs. 2 (up or down) against the base currency (USD/EUR) used in pricing the trip, the corresponding difference will either be charged to or refunded to the client, as applicable.

Self-arranged Visa or Flights:

Wovoyage will not be responsible for any issues related to visas or flight tickets that are independently arranged by the traveller.

Jurisdiction:

All bookings are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India, and are governed by the applicable laws of India.

Travellers below 18 years and above 60 years:

Travellers aged below 18 years and above 60 years are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent and family member, or companion, respectively, during the trip.
