Cancellation Policy

Changed Your Mind After Booking?


We understand that plans can change. To ensure you feel confident with your booking, we offer the following policy: Suppose you decide to cancel within 24 to 48 hours of making your booking. In that case, you will receive a full refund after deducting Rs. 1,000 towards administrative expenses, provided there are at least 15 days left before departure for domestic trips, or 30 days for international trips, at the time of cancellation notification.

Please note: Refunds under this clause are subject to the 'Additional Terms' mentioned below.

Standard Cancellation Schedule

  • Cancellation 30+ days before departure:
    A deduction of 15% of the base tour price or Rs. 7,000 (whichever is lower); the balance will be refunded.

  • Cancellation 30 to 20 days prior to departure:
    25% of the base tour cost will be deducted; the remaining amount will be refunded.

  • Cancellation 19 to 10 days prior to departure:
    50% of the base tour cost will be deducted; the rest will be refunded.

  • Cancellation 9 to 7 days prior to departure:
    75% of the base tour cost will be deducted; balance refunded.

  • Cancellation within 6 days or less before departure:
    No refund will be applicable.

Additional Terms

  • In cases where flight tickets have been booked through Wovoyage, airline-specific cancellation policies will apply separately.
  • Payments made for add-ons such as activities, extra room nights, etc., will be refunded on a ‘best-effort’ basis only. Wovoyage is not liable for such amounts.
  • Payment gateway handling fees (approximately 2.25%) are non-refundable. Although we absorb processing fees for online bookings as a goodwill gesture, these charges will be applicable in case of cancellations.
  • If Wovoyage cancels the trip for any unforeseen reason, a 100% refund will be processed.
    Refunds, once approved, will be processed directly into the customer's bank account and may take up to 30 days.
  • In the event of cancellation, any expenses incurred for visa processing, insurance, and flight tickets (even if included in the package) will be recovered separately on actuals, in addition to the standard cancellation fee.
  • If the trip has to be rescheduled due to force majeure events (natural disasters, civil unrest, war, or other events beyond control), it will not be considered a standard cancellation. In such a scenario, you will have the option to:
  • Transfer to the new dates without additional costs
  • Switch to another available trip with applicable transfer charges
  • Cancel with a deduction based on the lowest cancellation slab, along with recovery of any unrecoverable expenses (e.g., visa fees, airfare, insurance, payment gateway charges).

Trip Transfers

  • For trips scheduled more than 30 days from departure, travellers may request to transfer their booking to another available Wovoyage trip within the current financial year.
  • Transfers are subject to availability and approval at Wovoyage’s discretion.
  • An administrative transfer fee of Rs. 2000 will be charged.
  • Please note, only one transfer per booking is permitted.
